  Great food, great service. Staff very nice and food was quick. Would suggest booking in advance as the restaurant is very small and gets booked up quickly.

  We have breakfast as a family at Tiamo regularly, always great service and in my opinion the best breakfast in Lincoln!

  Disappointing visit - we had booked for 6.30pm and were shown to our table and order taken. An hour later we had still not been served, along with many others in the restaurant. We asked the casually dressed lad/waiter and he said he would find out. Answer came back that it would be around 5 mins and apologies for the delay but one of the chefs was ill. Another table was offered free drinks, as were a couple of guys ordering a take-away who had been kept waiting, but we were offered nothing. Finally the food arrived and it was, at best, average. There was no further apology from anyone.
  If there is an illness which will cause delay and sub-standard food, I think it would be only fair to mention this at the point of arrival. Having seen the whole meal through, it would have been appreciated if there was a proper apology with perhaps an offer of free drinks for our next visit. Unfortunately, after this visit, there will be no next visit!
